How do I collect my rental vehicle when I get to Tasmania?
We have two convenient pick up and drop off locations — one near Hobart Airport and one near Launceston Airport, with a free shuttle service operating at both locations.
You can pick up and drop off your hire vehicle at either location — the choice is yours.
Can I collect and return my vehicle out of your normal office hours?
Yes, we have a key safe which allows you to collect or return your vehicle whenever we aren’t open – you’ll need to make your own way to and from the depot though.
Can I pick up my vehicle in one location and return it to another?
Yes, however, a one-way fee of $175 applies if the vehicle isn’t returned back to the same location.
Is there a limit on how many kilometres I can drive per day?
No, all our vehicles come with unlimited mileage, so you can explore as much of Tassie as you want!
Are there any tolls on Tasmania roads?
No, there are no toll roads in Tasmania — just plenty of scenic drives for you to enjoy.
Can I take my vehicle to Bruny Island?
Yes, we allow our vehicles to go to Bruny Island.
Is smoking allowed in your vehicles?
No, smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles – a heavy penalty will apply if traces of smoke are found.
Are animals permitted in your vehicles?
No, pets aren’t allowed in our vehicles.
What is your cancellation policy?
Sometimes plans change, that’s ok! Any cancellations made within 15 to 30 days before collection will require you to forfeit your $300 deposit, while cancellations made within 14 days of collection are not eligible for a refund.
