About Our Pick-Up and Drop-Off Point Near Hobart Airport

Location:

Warehouse 6/14 Kennedy Drive Cambridge, TAS 7170.

Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm (excluding public holidays).

How To Get Here:

Call our shuttle bus driver on 0484 186 578 to pick you up at Hobart Airport.

Other Information:

Outside of the above details, we are only a 5 minute taxi or Uber drive from Hobart Airport.

Your vehicle will be parked outside the depot
There is a lockbox on the left hand side of the roller door
Your keys will be in an envelope with your name written on the envelope
The registration number of your vehicle will be on the key tag
You’ll be given the PIN for the lockbox as part of your booking confirmation

Returning Your Vehicle

Please return your vehicle to Warehouse 6/14 Kennedy Drive, Cambridge TAS 7170. Any time from 8am and 4:30pm between Monday to Friday.

We will gladly drive you back to Hobart Airport. Please call our shuttle bus driver on 0484 186 578.

All other times, please park the vehicle and place the keys in the key return chute. Proceed to call a taxi or Uber to take you back to Hobart Airport.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We hired the sleeper van for 8 days and managed to get around all over Tas so easily.  Had everything you needed except a bathroom. Awning was great to have too. The bed was comfortable for 5"2 me but my 6" husbands legs hung off slightly.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We hired a premium compact car from LeisureRent for a 3 week trip touring around Tasmania. The car was spotless inside and out, inside was a printed inspection/checklist sheet with details of mileage and damage etc. and (unusual with hire cars in our experience) there was even a manual in the glove box. We drove over 2200km overall, in a big clockwise circuit of the island, and the car (a Kia Cerato) performed faultlessly. The rate was extremely competitive - about half the price we'd paid in previous years on the Australian mainland. Booking was straightforward, we were picked up and returned to Hobart Airport promptly and we would unhesitatingly recommend LeisureRent to anyone wanting to hire a car in Tasmania.

We have two convenient pick up and drop off locations — one near Hobart Airport and one near Launceston Airport, with a free shuttle service operating at both locations.

You can pick up and drop off your hire vehicle at either location — the choice is yours.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

Sometimes plans change, that’s ok! Any cancellations made within 15 to 30 days before collection will require you to forfeit your $300 deposit, while cancellations made within 14 days of collection are not eligible for a refund.

Q: Are there any tolls on Tasmania roads?

No, there are no toll roads in Tasmania — just plenty of scenic drives for you to enjoy.

Q: Is there a limit on how many kilometres I can drive per day?

No, all our vehicles come with unlimited mileage, so you can explore as much of Tassie as you want!
