About Our Pick-Up and Drop-Off Point Near Launceston Airport

How To Get Here:
After you have collected your luggage call for the shuttle van on 0474 255 415 or if no answer call 0429 727 277.
Exit the terminal and cross the medium strip and wait outside the smoking shelter for the LeisureRent branded van.
Our depot is located at 5 Gatty Street Western Junction, we operate the shuttle Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm (excluding weekends and public holidays), outside these hours please take a taxi or uber , we’re just a 5 minute drive from the airport, then contact us on 0429 727 277 and ask for the PIN to access the key safe which is located outside the gates to the property where you can gain the keys to your vehicle.
If you’re already in Launceston make your way to our depot at 5 Gatty Street, Western Junction.
Returning Your Vehicle
You’ll need to return the vehicle to 5 Gatty Street Western Junction.
Mon – Fri 8am – 4.30pm (excluding weekends and public holidays), we’ll transfer you to Launceston Airport via the shuttle van, outside these times call a Taxi or Uber to take you to the Airport. There’s a key safe for out of hours returns, call us on 0429 727 277 for the PIN to access this safe.

We have two convenient pick up and drop off locations — one near Hobart Airport and one near Launceston Airport, with a free shuttle service operating at both locations.
You can pick up and drop off your hire vehicle at either location — the choice is yours.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
Sometimes plans change, that’s ok! Any cancellations made within 15 to 30 days before collection will require you to forfeit your $300 deposit, while cancellations made within 14 days of collection are not eligible for a refund.
Q: Are there any tolls on Tasmania roads?
No, there are no toll roads in Tasmania — just plenty of scenic drives for you to enjoy.
Q: Is there a limit on how many kilometres I can drive per day?
No, all our vehicles come with unlimited mileage, so you can explore as much of Tassie as you want!
